The ZX Circular PL uses a newly developed high permeability polarizing membrane. This ensures the best color balance with no color misalignment compared to regular PL filters that tend to yellow tint while achieving an approximately 1 EV light transmittance.

The filter frame uses the "floating frame system" common to the ZX series.
Conventional PL filters hold onto the glass surface in the filter frame resulting in very slight distortion on the glass surface.
